Mendit was established in September 2000, and we started life in a medium 
size garden shed only repairing and hand washing a small amount of rugs.
Within 2 years we had grown big enough to need premises and a washing machine. Mendit continued to grow and by our third birthday we had moved to the present workshop at Piddlehinton where we have more washing machines and now employ 5 staff.
We are proud to say that all repairs to saddlery and rugs are undertaken at Mendit Premises by Mendit staff.
Pete has diversified from farming and has become a qualified saddler training at The Saddlery Training Centre, Mark Romain, Salisbury.
Hayley has won two awards for the business adult learner of the year and runner up for business start up.
At Mendit we pride ourselves on the highest quality of craftsmanship and professionalism and are still continuing to expand.
